Marwan Kheireddine is a well-known man in Lebanon for his influence on the Lebanese government, especially the finance sector. He owns a degree in Business Administration and Economics from Richmond University and did his MBA at the Columbia Business School. His passion for finance made him a serious entrepreneur who owns several businesses in various sectors. His major investments are the Virgin Megastores and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
His tenure in government was from July 2011 to February 2014, when he served as the Minister for State. During his time, he ensured that he made decisions that benefited the private sector since he believed that the growth of this sector significantly boosted economic growth. He helped in the enforcement of Banque du Liban Circular 331, which encouraged the financing of entrepreneurs. Other laws that he championed were those limiting cross-border cash flow and those prohibiting money laundering.

Marwan Salim Kheireddine also served on the board of the Association of Banks in Lebanon for several tenures due to his prowess in the banking and finance sector. From 1993 to 2013, he lectured finance at the American University of Beirut and later got elected to the advisory board, where he still serves. He was the advisor to the Beirut Stock Exchange Chairman from 1994 to 1999.
In 1999, Marwan Kheireddine helped form the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO) and served in several capacities for several years. He later joined the YPO School of Business in 2012, where he became the co-chair of their Executive Education Program. Currently, he holds the seat of the General Manager at AM Bank.
Apart from his career, he enjoys hunting, skiing, kick-boxing, and deep water diving. He also adores his wife and three children and spends much time with them. Marwan Kheireddine lives by the principles of integrity, honesty, and hard work, and by these three, he has grown his empire.
